Bill Siggins's 15 years as a broadcast journalist and decade as a film actor's representative prepared him well for his role as Four Square's senior producer. Siggins now runs Four Square's office Beijing, and is responsible for forging production partnerships in Asia.

Siggins joined Four Square in 2004 and has produced or directed several of its award-winning documentaries including Water, Water, Nanjing Nightmare, Searching for Confucius, Pierre Le Canadian and Under the Skin.

As a fluent Mandarin speaker Siggins also played a lead role in a Chinese dramatic television series shot in around Toronto. Once upon a time in Toronto, aired on Omni2 in late 2009 and is a Canada/China coproduction.

Siggins' current duties include researching and developing new drama and documentary projects that help bridge the cultural gap between the East and West.

Siggins has also worked as a cultural attaché for the Embassy of Canada in Beijing and as an editor for the Xinhua News Agency. He is also working with some of China's largest companies helping improve their Western-focused public relations.
